Interned with a cooking school teaching healthy cooking
Interned with the Food and Drug Administration delivering public health education on various topics including diabetes, food safety.
Managed a health/vitamin store for 2 years.
Interned with the Center for Science in the Public Interest seeing how lobbying takes place for changes with health related issues, i.e. proper labeling on products, decreasing the intake of soda in the schools

Currently working as a clinical dietitian delivering medical nutritional therapy to the patients and assisting other members of the health care team. Working with cardiac patients, diabetics, dialysis patients.

I have had a positive impact on friends and family helping them to change their lifestyles and eating/exercise habits.

Conducted nutrition seminars for a team of first time marathoners.

Interests: alternative medicine, nutrigenomics, naturopathic medicine, food science, weight management, psychology of eating, sports nutrition.

Hobbies: running (completed a marathon, half marathons and continue to participate in many shorter races), biking, spending time in health food stores researching different foods, researching diets of other cultures. Also enjoy traveling, camping and love for the outdoors!
